One thing I wish I had figured out earlier in my business is the power of having my own Affiliate Partners and and Joint Ventures. Why do everything on your own when we know that we’re always stronger together? I now have a great team of affiliates who help me promote my LinkedIn Course and drive traffic to my sales and opt-in pages.
Here’s what you need to get started to get raving affiliates help you sell your products:
- A product (or service) think e-course, book or tool
- A mailing list & tool (I use ActiveCampaign)
- An affiliate system (I started with a simple WordPress plugin called AffiliateWP which is a good tool to start with and have recently switched to ThriveCart (a shopping cart / affiliate system all in one)
Once you got this set up, start reaching out to fellow entrepreneurs, ask them if you can guest post on their blog, using their affiliate link, create tweets for them that they can share and even provide them with email copy they can send to their lists.
