To niche or not to niche. This is something many beginning entrepreneurs struggle with. I was one of them. The struggle comes mainly from the gurus with the loudest voice who tell you that you need to find your specific segment, your niche. And I agree, to some extent. You will be better off to be recognized in your field, if you are known for something specific.
