Holding Big Corporations Accountable

After almost three decades in international banking in London and Geneva that enabled Sylvain Massot to develop his investment and management skills, he co-founded Impaakt and Fondation ReBin, two ventures that seek to bring innovative solutions for Impact Investing. Foundation ReBin operates in Benin in the field of waste recycling. Impaakt is a web-platform that leverages on the collective intelligence of a large community of members to assess the social & environmental impact of large listed companies.

In this episode of the podcast, we are focusing on his work with Impaakt and how he has built a transparent platform that gives big corporations a sustainability score based on crowdsourced public information and contributors.

In this episode, you’ll learn about holding big corporations accountable as well as…

  • What Sylvain learned from impact investing and what the conscious investor looks for when placing his money
  • How Impaakt aims to hold big corporations accountable when it comes to sustainability
  • The crowdsourced business model that Sylvain is building, based on trust
  • How Impaakt is different from BCorp
  • What Sylvain has learned in the past 4 years transitioning from the banking sector to entrepreneurship
  • Much more
